7-16-13. Ocala, FL- The Bubba Army Late Models will take their shot at the 3/8 mile as will the Scorpion Racing Products UMP DirtCar Modifieds, E-Mods, 1-800-ASK GARY Thunder Stocks, and the Rent-N-Roll Gladiators this Saturday night.

Rich Pratt still has a stranglehold on the Late Model points standings with a 35-point advantage over two-time winner Mark Whitener. "The Magic Man" sits another twenty-two up on Tyler Clem, the young driver that continues to impress at just ten years old. Jeff Mathews is up to fourth over good friend Kyle Bronson. Bronson won our season opener and has been as high as third in the Nesmith Touring Championship standings. Who will strike next in the Late Model division?

Charlie O'Neill is using consistency to stay ahead in the UMP Modified division, but his gap is down to three markers over Jeff Mathews. Mathews finally lost his streak of wins last time out, but he still leads the division in wins. Scott Kurtzner is only twenty-eight behind O'Neill, and Bryan Bernhardt- the Modified rookie- is only three behind Kurtzner in the tightest championship battle in recent history in the UMP Modifieds. Rich Pratt rounds out the top five.

Shane Nichols, the driver that won the first four features in E-Mod history, still holds his slim fifteen point lead over Shane Taylor. As the Shanes battle up front, Shawn Taylor- Shane Taylor's brother- sits in third just seventeen behind his brother. Charlie Howard, Jr. is fourth at exactly 100 out, and Roy Crain rounds out the top five.

William Gillam is once more the championship leader, even if just by four points over Brandon Elwood. Elwood, however, has two wins to Gillam's one on the campaign. Melvin Fockler is up to third in the title chase in his first full championship run, and Tony Campbell sits fourth in the standings. Brandon Tillander rounds out the top five as he puts his efforts towards the title.

Stephen Frankland is the Gladiator points leader as he has won more features than the rest of the pack combined. Bill Southard is second, but he's slowly being caught by Tom Sheehan for that position. Sheehan sits within twenty of Southard and the battle is on for the position. Josh Fincher once led the championship, but he's slipped down to fourth, only twenty-three clear of rookie Tyler Bryden. It's going to get wild throughout this pack.

Racing is scheduled for 7 with pits opening at 4 and grandstands opening at 5. For more info, please visit www.bubbaracewaypark.com or call us at 352-622-9400!
